This Constitution provides us with equality, justice and freedom. And always reminds us of our duties. Every citizen has been given equal rights in the Constitution.

It took 2 years 11 months and 18 days to make our Constitution. The constitution writing process started on 19 December 1946 and ended on 26 November 1949. During this period, 11 sessions of 165 days were held. Some provisions of the Constitution were implemented on 26 November 1949. While the entire Constitution came into force on 26 January 1950

Our Constitution was made under the leadership of BR Ambedkar and it provides fundamental rights to all the citizens of India. It assures us justice, equality and freedom. Therefore, we should contribute to the development of our country by becoming responsible citizens.

This day is also to remember the freedom fighters and salute them. Because they sacrificed their lives to gain independence and save future generations.
